After the success of our first Lucerne Shoulder Course in November 2024, we’re delighted to announce the second edition of our hands-on course with some exciting new innovations!

This year, we continue to focus on the broad field of orthopedic and trauma surgery for the shoulder joint, but with a fresh perspective. We’re pushing the boundaries with cutting-edge techniques and technologies that will elevate your surgical skills.

Day 1 will cover advanced arthroscopic procedures, including the treatment of instabilities, rotator cuff repairs, and brachial plexus preparations. You’ll gain invaluable insights into the latest arthroscopic techniques and their real-world applications.

Day 2 shifts focus to the management of proximal humerus fractures, offering a deep dive into both osteosynthesis and arthroplasty. We will present state-of-the-art surgical approaches and techniques using fresh-frozen cadavers in our modern Skills Lab.

But that’s not all: experience live demonstrations of the latest innovations from our industry partners, including augmented reality in reverse total shoulder arthroplasty and the use of 3D planning tools for corrective osteotomies around the humerus.

This course has a clear hands-on focus and will be complemented by small group discussions, allowing you to engage directly with our international faculty. The maximum number of participants is limited to ensure an interactive and personalized learning experience.

We look forward to welcoming you to Lucerne for a unique, practice-oriented educational event!
